Zastava had a glorious past as the Balkans’ foremost car producer. Then Yugoslavia collapsed and NATO bombed Belgrade in 1999. Despite a recent joint venture with the Fiat Group, Zastava’s new re-start seems to be from “Year Zero”. Pictures by Bruno Maran.
