Vinistra and the SeeNet II producers – Andrea Pandini

Vinistra was held in Poreฤ/Parenzo last week end. An appointment dedicated to the wines of Istria, but not only. This year there was a SeeNet II stand in which, besides the Istrian representatives, there were wine producers and growers from other areas of Croatia, as well as from Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia and Italy

The Seenet II Programme deals with wine production in a cross-sectional manner. Starting from the Actions linked to the promotion of the natural environment, such as the one aimed at the enhancement of local resources for the development of rural tourism in the regions of Herzegovina and Dubrovnik, lead by Tuscany, with its Italian partner the Autonomous Province of Trento; moving on to Actions linked to wine and food tourism such as the one aimed at joint promotion and enhancement of cultural, environmental and historical heritage between Istra and Varaลพdin, lead by the Veneto region with its partners Friuli Venzia Giulia and Tuscany. Moreover the Action entitled โ€œtrans-growthโ€ – business promotion for the trans-national growth of integrated local production systems, lead by Friuli Venezia Giulia with its partners Emilia Romagna, Veneto and Marche, also deals with grape growing in the areas of Osijek-Baranja, Vukovar-Srijem and in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

Vinistra in fact, besides the host County of Istria also witnessed the presence of SeeNet delegations from Osijek-Baranja, Vukovar-Srijem, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, from Herzegovina (ฤŒitluk), the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Friuli and Veneto.
